Approximately 15 percent of the world's population, ie more than 1 billion people, has various disabilities.Disability is very diverse and the number of disabled people is increasing due to the aging of the population and the increase in chronic diseases.

In order to increase and improve the health level of our people, our activities for the protection of people with special needs (elderly, disabled, people exposed to domestic violence, street children, etc.) due to their physical, mental, social or economic conditions and increasing the accessibility of health services appropriate to their needsis located.

Facilities for Our Disabled Health Workers

  • Meetings are held once a month with our employees in the hospital and their requests and demands are evaluated.
         Working areas are determined according to the obstacle situations.

    Arrival and departure times are arranged and provided for convenience

Facilitating Access to Health Care for People with Disabilities:

- Provision of companion staff (hostess service) to facilitate the procurement of services for disabled and elderly patients in health institutions,

- Sign language trainings are provided to health personnel in our hospitals to ensure communication with hearing impaired patients,

- In the polyclinic services, priority is taken,

- While the registration and admission procedures of the disabled citizens to the health institutions are carried out, transactions are made by ensuring that they sit in accordance with their special situation,

- Turkey Public Hospitals Authority was presented by the application of patients 'rights prepared by voice and braille in order to be understood by the deaf patient's rights documents all hospital patients' rights units in the use of our people.

- It is ensured that the relevant personnel are included in in-service training programs for the provision of health services to disabled individuals and the continuity of their training.

Home Health Services:

- It is carried out jointly with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, NGOs and municipalities. COPD and so on within the scope of home health care. those with respiratory diseases; bed-dependent patients, terminal palliative care patients, and those with advanced muscle disease.

- Examination, examination and analysis, treatment, medical care, follow-up and rehabilitation services are provided to individuals in need of home health care. Family physicians, mobile teams, home health service hospital units, home health oral and dental health units are involved in home health services.

In the prevention of disability, the provision of the necessary treatment and rehabilitation services against the disabled, increasing the awareness of individuals with disabilities and raising awareness of the rights of the disabled, health sector, education sector has a lot of importance.

People with disabilities want love and compassion, don't spare your love and compassion from them.
