The Burn Unit was established in Tuzla State Hospital in 2018; It is a unit with 6 beds and 1 burn patient washing room. The comfort of our patients is kept in the foreground and our rooms are designed for single occupancy. In addition, there are appropriate patient visiting cabinets in our patient rooms in order to prevent infection. In this way, the patient is protected against external infections and will be motivated to meet with relatives. The Patient Washing Room has a patient washing stretcher and a patient carrying lift. Thus, treatment of our inpatients will be done effectively. There are skin dermatomes and mesher devices in the operating room for patients who need surgery. In addition, 1 responsible physician and 12 nurses will work in the Burn Unit. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital has received training at the Burn Center and gained experience in the care of burn patients.
