Tuzla State Hospital Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Unit serves in two separate units on the ground floor and the 4th floor of the main building.
In the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Unit located on the ground floor of the building; Approximately 260 patients are treated with 6 nurses, 4 physical therapy technicians and one physiotherapist.
In this section ; There are 3 treatment rooms. There are 4 beds in these treatment rooms and tens, ultrasound, hotpack boiler and infrared therapy and electrotherapy applications are performed in the room.
In addition, 6 beds in the ground floor hall tens, ultrasound, hotpack boiler and infrared in addition to coldpack, short wave diathermy devices and electrotherapy applications are made.
For rehabilitation patients, treatment is provided with two beds, one of which is a bobath bed. A hand treatment table and equipment necessary for rehabilitation patients, shoulder wheel finger ladder, ladder, climbing bar, balance board, such as tools in this section.
with our ESWT device, heel spurs, tennis and golf elbow treatments are performed.
In the 4th floor of our building, inpatient services are provided by 3 physiotherapists in the Physical Therapy room next to the Physical Therapy Service. In this section, orthopedic (knee-hip prosthesis, cross-ligament and meniscus tears of fracture treatment, frozen shoulder…) and neurological patients (hemiplegia, spinal cord injuries, MS, parkinson etc.) are treated in our clinic. In this field, cycling, standing table, combined electro therapy devices, ultrasound, tens instruments, globus, hotpack boiler, coldbag, parallel bars, hand rehabilitation tables and equipment and treatments are applied.
