About 2 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the world. In the US, 527 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day and 110 of them die. the table is not different in Turkey. Breast cancer affects the lives of 20,000 women every year. Breast cancer, which constitutes 25% of women's cancers and 12% of all cancers, is now frequently seen in the 30s.
The disease, which has occurred every 12-14 women in the past, is now possible in one of 8 women. The most important reason for this is life style changes.
The brochures were distributed to patients and their relatives with the information stand we opened in our hospital within the scope of October 1-31 October breast cancer awareness month. Pink ribbon which is our awareness symbol and pink necklaces and scarves prepared by our hospital were presented to our participants. The stand was very intense, and will be open until the end of October and will be available to inform patients and relatives.
