PATIENT GUIDE


Please do not forget to bring with you, as the official ID (identity card or driver's license) will be used for patient admission and any kind of work in the hospital.

Observe the appointment times given for outpatient clinic examinations.Do not talk loudly in the hospital environment and disturb other patients.Smoking in the hospital is prohibited.In the event of a suspicious situation or person, please inform the relevant service person and ask the security guards at the entrance to the building.If any of your property is lost, stolen or unattended, inform the security department of the relevant department.Do not leave valuables in your vehicle.Do not ask for help from people you do not know and do not accept their offers of help.You can get the wheelchair you need from the Public Relations unit in our hospital.

                                                                                                                                                                                                    VISITOR POLICY

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PATIENT VISIT?

 The patient visit, which is a good example of social solidarity, has a positive effect on the healing process by increasing the patient's morale level when properly organized.It also keeps you informed about your patient's condition.

      - To meet the needs of the patient from outside the hospital

      - Asking the patient's memory, giving psychological support

      - Asking the patient's doctor about the health of the patient

WHO OR WHO IS INFORMED ABOUT THE PATIENT'S HEALTH?

 If the patient is adult and conscious, he or she is advised to have first degree relatives.

  If the patient is unconscious, first degree relatives are informed.

  If the child is sick, the parent is informed.

  Third parties are not informed about the patient.

WHICH PATIENTS MUST NOT VISIT?

 - Patients with infectious diseases

 - Patients with impaired immune system

 - Patients whose doctor sees inconvenience during the visit.

WHO SHOULD NOT GO TO PATIENT VISIT? 

   - Children under 12,

    - Patients with complaints of fever, cough, sneezing and phlegm, and patients with a known infectious disease,

    - Patients with any chronic disease,

    - People who are susceptible to infection.

 WHAT ARE THE CASES TO BE CONSIDERED IN PATIENT VISIT?     
   - Please do not insist on a patient visit in special cases that your doctor does not allow.

   - Visit the patient during the visiting hours.

  Weekdays are from 13:00 to 14:00 and 19:00 to 20:00 and on weekends from 13:00 to 15:00 and 19:00 to 20:00.

   -Visit time should be short (preferably no more than 10 minutes)

   - There should be no more than two visitors at the beginning of each patient and should NOT be talked at high volume to disturb other patients.

   - Patient beds should not be seated, should not be touched anywhere in the bedside and hospital environment.

    - Wash hands before and after visits.

   - Do not forget that your interventions may harm your patient.

   - Patient privacy should be respected.

   - Live flowers should not be brought during patient visit (infection, allergy risk.)

   - During the visit, demoralizing words and behaviors should be avoided.

   -There should not be any unnecessary and persistent requests for visits outside the visiting hours.

   - Patient's rooms should be left at the end of the visiting hours without waiting for the warnings of the staff.

VISITOR ADMISSION TO ADULT INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

Visiting hours: 13: 00-14: 00.

  Daily information is provided by the physician between 13:00 and 14:00.

VISITOR ADMISSION TO THE NEWBORN INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

Visiting hours: 13:00 - 14:00 and 19:00 - 20:00, parents are welcome.

  Daily information is provided by the physician between 13: 00-14: 00.


Companion Policy

In order to provide the best health service to our patients, all of our patients, companions and relatives must comply with the hospital rules stated below.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR COMPANIES

1. The patient's doctor determines whether or not to accompany the patient. If necessary, 1 (one) person can be a companion.

2.Do not leave your patient as far as possible and constantly insert your companion card.

3.Do not bring food to our hospital from outside.

4. In terms of the privacy of our patients, make sure to have a female companion in the Gynecology and Obstetrics Service (Article 62 of the Turkish Medical Code).

5.Do not damage the state property (Hospital building, goods etc.) (Article 152 of the TPC).

6. Never smoke in the hospital building (Law 4207).

7. Be careful not to speak loudly in the rooms and corridors of our hospital.

8.Accounters can help the patient care to the extent permitted.

9.For your safety, obey hospital rules and safety warnings.

10. Visiting hours of the hospital are 13:00 to 14:00 during the day and 19:00 to 20:00 in the evening.

Weekends are between 13:00 and 15:00 in the daytime and between 19:00 and 20:00 in the evening. Be sure to comply with the visiting hours.

11. Companions are obliged to obey the rules of the institution.

SAFETY RULES

  • In the event of a suspicious situation or person, please inform the relevant service person and ask the security officers for help.
         In the event of the loss, theft or the appearance of any unattended items, inform the responsible nurse or security personnel of the relevant department.
         Do not bring your valuables (trappings, large amounts of money, etc.) when you come for hospitalization.
         Store your personal belongings in the cabinets reserved for you.
         Do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.
         Do not ask for help from people you do not know and do not accept their offers of help.
